Germany organizations of the Communist Party of Turkey and the Communist Party of Greece laid carnations and flowers at the Soviet monument in Treptower Park.

João Oliveira, Member of the European Parliament from the Portuguese Communist Party led an open letter signed by other MEPs, including those from communist and workers' parties. The letter requests for an extraordinary plenary session of the European Parliament on the situation in Palestine.

The Communist Party of Turkey has announced its program of action against the NATO summit planned to take place in Ankara in July. While declaring the week of July 4–12 as the “Anti-NATO Summit Week,” TKP also called for participation in a rally to be held in Ankara on July 5.

The event entitled "From the heroic May of '36 to today: A working class hero is something to be!" was held in Thessaloniki, Greece, by KKE. Communist Party of Turkey was also present at the event and delivered a speech.

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of Turkey held a meeting and discussed the plan of action against NATO.
