The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) took part in mobilisations in the Athens metropolitan area on 1 November, as trade unions, mass organisations and anti-fascist groups organised demonstrations against the reappearance of neo-Nazi activity and the policies of the government.

The French Communist Party (PCF) has backed calls for renewed youth and workers’ mobilisation on 2 and 5 November, supporting the demands raised by the Movement of Young Communists of France (MJCF) and announcing its own participation in the nationwide workers’ action.

The Portuguese Communist Party (PCP) has stepped up its parliamentary and public activity around the 2027 state budget, presenting proposals to address the rising cost of living, improve wages and pensions, and expand public housing.

Responding to a call from the TKP (Communist Party of Turkey), thousands of citizens gathered in Ankara, İstanbul, and İzmir and took to the streets on 29 October, on the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey. 

The Communist Party of Greece (KKE) has condemned the Greek government’s ban on an anti-fascist demonstration in Thessaloniki and the subsequent police intervention against protesters opposing a planned appearance by Ilias Kasidiaris, a former leading member of the neo-Nazi Golden Dawn organisation. 

13 European communist youth organisations issued a joint statement in which they welcome the mobilizations of pupils, students and workers currently taking place in a number of European countries and express their solidarity with the global mobilization of dockworkers on 30 October.
