The Polit Bureau of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has issued a statement, condemning police violence on peaceful protesters.

The Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) (CPI(M)), meeting in New Delhi from 11-13 July 2026, issued a communiqué sharply criticizing the BJP-led central government over the economy, social welfare, corruption, communal politics, democratic rights, and foreign policy.

In a statement, the acting president of the Workers' Party of Bangladesh Central Committee, Mahmudul Hasan Manik, and the acting general secretary, Nur Ahmed Bakul, expressed their strong criticism and anger at the current government for celebrating American Independence Day at the South Plaza of the Parliament Building.

The Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) organized a protest march and rally in Dhaka to oppose the government's decision to allow celebrations of the United States' 250th Independence Day on the premises of the National Parliament.
