The Communist Party of Venezuela was part of a "twitazo", called #FueraTrumpDeVenezuela (Trump out of Venezuela). Many other political forces also took part in the twitter campaign, which aims to be a step in the construction of a united move against US intervention in the country.
The Party said, "True to our anti-imperialist and Marxist-Leninist character, we communists condemn imperialist tutelage over Venezuela. Only Venezuelans can decide our own destiny. Defending the homeland is everyone's duty."
A demonstration is to be held on 4 August in Caracas, with the same motto.
