Labour organizations have mobilized to protest the elimination of the Back to Work Program in Argentine, which was helping vulnerable households build practical employability.
CP of Argentina joins mobilizations and calls for a general strike!
The UTEP (Union of Workers of the Popular Economy) and various social movements began holding neighbourhood assemblies and road blockades in different provinces, later joining the two CTA (Argentine Workers' Central Union) and the CGT (General Confederation of Labour) supporting the demands that retirees make every Wednesday before Congress and throughout the country. But the elimination of the Back to Work program will also be felt because, in exchange for that meagre sum, the workers have been providing various services, including small construction projects, cleaning, and recycling in several municipalities, as well as at soup kitchens and community dining halls.
Communist Party of Argentina has participated alongside the two CTAs, CGT unions, and other organizations in the mobilization at Congress, and at various points across the country, supporting retirees and for fair wages for the entire working class.
CPA remarked how the retirees continue to lead the way in the struggle and unity, continue to mark the path of struggle and unity.

"We're still out in the streets to give no quarter to this greedy, neocolonial government! Let's go for a massive general strike!"
