NCPN condemns defacement of Soviet War Cemetery

The NCPN condemns the horrific defacement of 150 graves and the monument at the Soviet War Cemetery in Leusden. Various repugnant fascist texts have been scrawled on the graves and the monument.

The NCPN emphasizes that these acts of vandalism do not stand alone, but are part of both an emerging fascist tendency and the result of years of anti-communism and anti-Sovietism, supported and promoted by all bourgeois parties and media.

Defacing the graves and monuments of the heroes of the Red Army, who liberated Europe from fascism, will in no way negate their sacrifice. They remain an inspiration to everyone fighting against fascism, which stems from the capitalist system.
