Communists say war economy does not benefit workers

Communist Party of Canada calls to stop war economy

Communist Party held a press conference to challenge the federal government's push to war economy.

Adrien Welsh, the National Secretary of the Communist Party of Quebec, and Drew Garvie, the Communist Party Leader, conducted a press conference to protest the federal government's proposed $150 billion war budget.

They elaborated on the Party's campaign against the war economy, which contends that this military spending benefits weapons manufacturers and banks rather than working people in Canada.

The Party called for the reallocation of war economy funds to address the pressing issues of affordability, healthcare, education, and housing.

The campaign to send messages to MPs is ongoing.
