On September 23 and 30, two discussion forums focusing on reflection and analysis were held around the state crime represented by the forced disappearance of the 43 student teachers from Ayotzinapa.

The meetings, held at the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters of the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla and in the Magna Hall of the Escuela Normal Superior del Estado de Puebla, provided spaces to keep alive the memory of the disappeared students and to deepen understanding of the political and social conditions that made that tragedy possible.
The Communist Youth Front emphasized the need to strengthen solidarity with the rural teacher-training colleges, institutions historically associated with popular education and with the struggles of the most dispossessed sectors of the country.
The discussions also addressed the role of the bourgeois state and its mechanisms of repression against popular organizations.
