First estimations from West Bengal Legislative Assembly Elections

There is a huge difference in the estimates of various exit polls on the question of government formation and seats in the state. The difference in the estimates of the party's lowest and highest seats is also serious.

Matrix opinion poll has given the BJP 146 to 161 seats out of the 294 seats in the state. The Trinamool Congress has been given 125 to 140 seats. After the second phase of voting on Wednesday, various media outlets started showing exit poll estimates from 6:30 pm. The final results have repeatedly differed from the exit poll and opinion poll estimates.

Various surveys have estimated that Trinamool and forces outside the BJP can get close to 16 percent of the votes today.

The P Mark survey estimates that the BJP can get 150 to 175 seats. The Trinamool Congress can get 118 to 138 seats.

The People's Pulse survey has given 117 to 187 seats to the Trinamool Congress. The BJP has been given 95 to 110 seats. Chanakya's survey has said that Trinamool will get 130 to 140 seats. BJP may get 150 to 160 seats.

While analyzing the estimates of the exit polls, some experts feel that it is quite problematic to estimate this time. It is difficult to predict what impact the votes of forces like the Left and Congress, apart from Trinamool and BJP, may have on each seat.

The voting phase of the assembly elections ended on Wednesday. On the same day, various organizations and channels released the survey reports.

The People's Pulse survey has predicted 1 seat for the Left Front and 3 to 5 seats for the Congress.

The estimates of this survey report are consistent with the strong campaigning in favor of Modi and the BJP by the media across the country.
