Working Group for 20th MECYO has concluded 

During the session, which was also attended by the Communist Youth of Turkey, who are members of the working group, it was decided that the next meeting would take place in Athens. Hosted by the Communist Youth Collectives (CJC), the youth organisation of the Communist Party of the Workers of Spain (PCTE), the meeting was attended by the Communist Youth of Turkey as well as the Communist Youth of Austria (KJÖ), the Young Communist League (YCL Britain), the United Democratic Youth Organisation (EDON) from Southern Cyprus, the Socialist German Workers’ Youth (SDAJ), the Communist Youth of Greece (KKE), the Communist Youth Front (FGC) from Italy, and the Portuguese Communist Youth (JCP). 

The slogan for the 20th Meeting of European Communist Youth Organisations, to be held in Athens, was also decided upon at this working group. 

‘We continue the struggle against imperialist wars, poverty, exploitation, and the system that breeds them. Solidarity with the peoples in struggle!' 

At the end of the meeting, the working group members posed for a photograph in front of a banner prepared for Fidel’s 100th birthday, carrying the slogan 'Cuba will win!'
