While a de facto state of emergency continues in the capital city of Turkey due to the upcoming NATO summit, the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) marched to Kızılay Square, centre of Ankara, with the slogan “Down with imperialism, down with NATO!”
The Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) issued a statement and called for a rally to be organised in Ankara on the 5th of July, to protest the NATO summit that will be held in that city from 7-8 July.
Paulo Raimundo, General Secretary of the Portuguese Communist Party (PCP), issued a statement regarding the national strike held on the 3rd of June across Portugal. He hailed the general strike as a major demonstration of workers’ strength and unity against the government’s proposed Labour Package, which he said would deepen exploitation, weaken labour protections, and undermine fundamental workers’ rights.

The Communist Party of Bohemia and Moravia held its 12th Congress on 30-31 May. A new leadership was elected at the congress.
The German Communist Party (DKP) filed a lawsuit against the "General Order of the Berlin Police." Since 2022, the Berlin police have prohibited the display of Russian and Soviet symbols, flags, music, and lettering at events on 8th and 9th of May. The hearing took place on the 19th of May.
An event was organised by the municipality of Lokros in Greece, about the people of Atalanta who were executed by the Italian occupation troops on 29 May 1943. At the event, Dimitris Koutsoumbas, the General Secretary of KKE made a speech.
