The Communist Party of the Workers of Spain protested the opening of a new private university in Asturias: When everything is privatized, we will be deprived of everything.

The event entitled "From the heroic May of '36 to today: A working class hero is something to be!" was held in Thessaloniki, Greece, by KKE. Communist Party of Turkey was also present at the event and delivered a speech.

A march was held from Purana Paltan intersection in Dhaka to Nawabpur as part of a nationwide protest program demanding the cancellation of the trade agreement signed with the United States.
