While a de facto state of emergency continues in the capital city of Turkey due to the upcoming NATO summit, the Communist Party of Turkey (TKP) marched to Kızılay Square, centre of Ankara, with the slogan “Down with imperialism, down with NATO!”
The Communist Party of Turkey issued a statement regarding the recent developments on the so-called "resolution process." The government -who is using the process to strengthen its Neo-Ottomanist policies- and its allies, now including the Kurdish national movement, are labelling any kind of opposition to this process as "foreign-backed."
